Whilst it was never our intention to produce a range of 'shelf life' baits, the popularity and growth in the brands of Odyssey XXX, Meteor and Live System has created a demand that we felt simply had to be met.

Over the past two years we have seen a significant increase in the number of fish captures reported by anglers using these baits. With many of these results coming from pressured UK and European waters, this has undoubtedly raised the awareness of the quality of our baits and the genuine value for money they represent.

As a result we have received simply hundreds of requests from shops and anglers both home and abroad for Odyssey XXX, Meteor and Live System to be produced in a form that doesn't require freezing.

After careful consideration, Ian Moore has agreed the production of these baits on one premise - that the quality which makes the freezer baits so successful is not compromised in any way in the production of the shelf-life version. All the same ingredients and additives that are used in our freezer bait range have also been used in these products, with the only difference being the addition of a human food stabiliser that inhibits microbial growth. Whilst they do not require freezing, these products should be treated with care and be kept in cool, dry conditions at all times, for a maximum of three weeks. After this period they should be kept frozen.
