SUPER PURE BETAINE

Derived from sugar beet, this anhydrous, crystalline powder is over 97% pure and is the best example of Betaine we have ever tested. Used in the human food, animal food and aquaculture industry, Betaine has become a very popular ingredient bringing many nutritional and palatability values to foods and baits. When added to boilie mixes, stick mixes, particles, pellets or spod mixes, this proven additive can significantly increase the 'pulling power' of your bait over short or long-term periods. Betaine has been proved extremely effective in base mixes when used in conjunction with Enzyme Treated Yeast, or Green Lipped Mussel Extract at a ratio of 50:50.
 

C.S.L. POWDER (100% Pure)

This is spray-dried Corn Steep Liquor Powder, derived from the process of steeping maize grains. It is bright yellow in colour and is a vital ingredient of our highly successful Corn Steep Liquor Pellets that also contain CSL Liquid. This pure powder has a very strong yeasty aroma that effectively traces through to finished baits at an inclusion level of around 10%. 

Can be included in base mixes at up to 2oz per lb.
 

CYPRIVIT (Carp Vitamin Supplement)

All animals, including fish have specific vitamin and mineral requirements that are necessary for health and vitality. Deficiencies in certain elements can make an animal select food items on the basis of their vitamin, trace element and mineral content. For some time it has been thought that certain fish that avoid capture for long periods are likely to be feeding exclusively on natural food items because of the nutrients they provide, thus steering clear of baits... and therefore capture. As most traditional bait ingredients have low trace levels of naturally occurring vitamins and minerals, adding Cyprivit, our specifically designed vitamin compound, will give baits the ideal profile required based on estimated daily intakes.

Highly recommended for inclusion in base mixes at up to 5g per lb. (10g/kg)

ENZYME TREATED LIVER POWDER

This pharmaceutical-grade liver powder has been treated with an enzyme to partially 'digest' the valuable nutrients it contains, meaning they are extremely available to fish once ingested. It is a very soluble, fine beige powder, which adds a beautifully yeasty meat aroma to any bait item as well as essential amino acids, enzymes, proteins, vitamins and minerals. Over the last two years, many anglers have experienced quite outstanding results using this product in boilies, stick/method mixes, spod mixes or as an addition to pellet or particle mixes in order to boost their attraction.

Being a natural product, there is no limit to its inclusion in base mixes.

ENZYME TREATED YEAST

Since the early 1980's, Yeast has been widely recognised by anglers and bait makers alike as a great fish attractor. This enhanced yeast product is not only naturally attractive and rich in valuable 'B' vitamins, but has been treated with digestive enzymes to improve its nutritional availability and act as an appetite stimulant. With such an excellent nutritional profile, this Enzyme Treated Yeast can be added to any bait to enhance its digestibility, protein solubility and amino acid profile, as well as giving baits a deep, yeasty aroma.
 

FERMENTED SHRIMP POWDER

Not to be confused with Belachan, this European-derived powder has a very strong 'natural' aroma that gives baits a deep shellfish note that fish can detect easily even though it's not particularly evident to the human sense of smell. During field-testing, this powder was one of the most successful additives used, particularly when mixed into base mixes with Enzyme Treated Yeast at an inclusion rate of 40g/kg of each. Being a natural product, there is no limit to its inclusion in base mixes.
 

FRUCTOSE CONCENTRATE

This powerful additive is a very strong fruit palatant that has now been enhanced by the addition of a proven sweetening agent. When added, Fructose Concentrate 'labels' any bait item with a distinctive raspberry-type fruit aroma that has been extremely effective when used in milk protein and bird food baits since 2004. Unlike many liquid flavours and additives, this powder effectively traces through in finished baits, regardless of preparation processes or air drying, meaning that very low levels can be used to add a superb fruity dimension.
 

GARLIC POWDER (Extra Strength)

For a great many years, Garlic has been widely acknowledged as a great fish attractor, adding that distinctive aroma that surrounds some waters in the spring and summer time. Being a powerful antioxidant, Garlic not only delivers a very attractive taste and aroma to baits, but also delivers long-term nutritional benefits in helping fish fight disease and parasitic challenges. As a potent, natural powder, Garlic is a superb year-round attractor that many anglers insist upon in their bait, and has been a key ingredient of many successful mixes over the years.
 

GREEN LIPPED MUSSEL EXTRACT

Green Lipped Mussel is of New Zealand origin and is undoubtedly one of the most 'proven' fish catching additives ever used. It has added superb natural attraction characteristics to anglers baits over many years, resulting in the increased catch rates of many of the best and most experienced anglers in the carp fishing world.

Whilst many new additives have arrived on the scene since the initial use of G.L.M. Ext, the complete attraction value of this superb powder cannot be over stated-as we have found with the devastating Odyssey XXX freezer baits that contain 10% (100g per kg). Being a natural product, there is no limit to its inclusion in base mixes.
 

LACTOSE CONCENTRATE B+

This highly aromatic additive gives a beautifully creamy label to any bait as well as now giving a soft, sweet taste. A proven, subtle sweetener has now been added to this already successful attractor, making the new product very similar to the legendary Milk B+ that was so devastatingly effective through the 1980's and 1990's.
 

PURE LIVER POWDER

Any angler that has used Liver Powder in the past will probably agree that it is a powerful appetite stimulant and fish attractor. This pharmaceutical grade powder is of porcine origin and can add significant benefits to all baits ranging from boilies to stick and method mixes. Although Liver Powder has most regularly been used as an addition to 'savoury-flavoured' baits, it has proved very effective when used in conjunction with sweet, fruity or particularly non-flavoured baits. Being a natural product, there is no limit to its inclusion in base mixes.
 

LOBSTER POWDER

Made from pure lobster flesh, this additive can really give your bait an edge, as it is so uncommon in modern bait making due to its difficulty of supply. It is a floury pink/brown powder with a very smooth shellfish aroma that ties in beautifully with any bait - not necessarily fishmeal based mixes. 

SOLUBLE FISH PROTEIN (L-ZERO-30)

Soluble Fish Protein is a high quality crystalline product, which is totally soluble in water. It is made from enzyme treated marine proteins, has a deep, yeasty, fish aroma and is a superb additive for use within any high quality food bait. Containing powerful digestive enzymes, soluble fish protein delivers valuable nutritional benefits to mixes, not least digestible proteins, amino acids, a natural aroma and taste and a very important salt content. SPIRULINA (Blue Green Algae Powder)

Spirulina is a blue-green micro algae that grows naturally in lakes and waterways. It supports and feeds many natural organisms thus improving the food population of any water where it is present. Spirulina is extremely rich in the antioxidant Beta Carotene that enables fish to effectively fight diseases and biological challenges, allowing weight gains to be maximised. It is the highest naturally occurring protein food that contains all the essential amino acids (and most of the non-essential ones), making it one of the main reasons why fish feed on plant life where so many benefits can be gained. (Think of its value in winter when there is little or no natural plant growth-but it is still very digestible).
Also rich in available Iron, Vitamin B12, B Complex and Gamma Linoleic Acid (GLA), this fine green bait colouring powder has a 70% vegetable protein content, very low fat/oil level and impressive array of trace elements that make it a superb additive choice for year-round baits.
 

SQUID POWDER

Along with Pure Liver Powder, Betaine and Green Lipped Mussel Extract, Squid Powder is one of the most popular and successful powdered additives used in modern bait production. Produced from Squid fillets, it is a very pure source of protein, energy, and amino acids as well as being very naturally attractive to all species. Although Squid Powder has most often been incorporated into fish meal base mixes, it has a shellfish/yeast aroma that lends it to all mixes including milk protein, bird food and '50:50' base mixes. When used at inclusion levels in excess of 5%, Squid Powder very effectively becomes the main attracting 'label' of a bait and tends to create a stronger, more natural attraction profile that fish will repeatedly respond to over months or even years. Being a natural product, there is no limit to its inclusion in base mixes.
 

CONCENTRATED YEAST POWDER

This human grade yeast powder is a fine, spray-dried, meaty product that adds a subtle aroma and taste to bait. Where a savoury, meaty profile is required, Concentrated Yeast Powder is very effective when used in conjunction with meat-based products, as it tends to have a stronger natural meat aroma than meat products themselves! This particular yeast powder is more soluble than most others, is a rich source of selenium, potassium, 'B' vitamins and many other very valuable vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Being a natural product, there is no limit to its inclusion in base mixes.
 

ULTRASWEET

This new intense powdered sweetener is incredibly strong, making it a very cost effective option for adding a smoothly sweet taste to any bait item. The key property of this sweetener that drew our attention was its superbly soft sweetening of baits when used at very modest levels. Whilst other powdered products we tested added an almost repellent bitter after taste to bait, Ultrasweet 'grows' on the tongue, leaving a subtle sweetness that all species find very attractive.
