POP UP MIX

With many anglers requiring flexibility and individuality in their baits, this easy to use pop-up mix makes floating hookbaits very simple to produce. It makes round, firm, very buoyant baits when mixed with eggs and needs to be simmered for two minutes, thus saving on attractor losses during the cooking process. This mix is ideal for use in conjunction with other base mixes as well as individual ingredients or attractors e.g. a mix of 15% Green Lipped Mussel Extract, 5% Betaine and 80% Pop-Up Mix makes a fantastic natural pop-up which fish find very attractive.

Tip:

When producing pop ups or 'wafters' try making shapes other than round baits - particularly if they are to be fished as single hook baits. Think about the hooking arrangement to see if you can present sticks, pyramids, discs or other obscure shapes, which fish may not associate with danger.
