Our warmest congratulations go to 'Old Geezer' Gerry Giles who, after 48 years of carp fishing' has managed to catch his first 60lb fish in the shape of this whopping 68lb mirror banked on a recent session on an undislcosed French venue. Gerry, who has appeared on our front page before when banking The Plodder from Toll Pits at over 50lb, also caught this mightily impressive mirror using the ever reliable Odyssey XXX but this time presented it over a bed of Hemp.

Once again Gerry's result just proves how effective and instantly attractive Odyssey XXX is regardless of whether fish have ever seen it before.
