Our congratulations go to Phil Thomsen who, as a friend of Adam Smith and Myles Gibson, recently tried the all-conquering N-Gage XP for the first time on his chosen Oxfordshire stillwater following a discussion with his angling colleagues.

31 year old chef Phil used an N-Gage XP pop up fished on a chod rig over 3kg of whole and broken NGXP baits to bank what is surely one of the most stunning fish swimming in UK waters today.

At 44lb 6oz this sought-after beauty has now fallen for N-Gage XP twice in 4-5 weeks just proving what we already knew....when they get a taste for it they just can't help themselves.
