Incredible brace of Lincolnshire 40s!

It is with great pleasure we can report another superb result achieved by an angler using N-Gage XP………….

CC Moore field tester Ashley Ward has been concentrating on a Lincolnshire water in the past few weeks using our popular N-Gage XP boilies as accompanying products to tempt some of its large cherished residents.

During this time Ashley has caught a number of fish including the never-to-be-forgotten large scaley mirror which has obviously failed to spawn effectively in the past year. This fish was caught at 44lb 10oz back on April 1st when Ashley had started his N-Gage campaign on the venue.

This instantly recognisable fish was, although welcome, not the only fish that Ashley was targeting in the venue so meant his campaign on the water would be extended for some time in order to hopefully catch some of the other prized residents.

Ashley has just sent us details of his latest session. They are as follows:

“On Thursday night I got down to the lake and set the traps. At around 4am on Friday morning I got a take that resulted in a repeat of the 44.10 mirror I had on April the 1st but a bit smaller at 43lb 13oz and looking slightly better than before.”

“Then on Friday afternoon I had an 18lb 13oz common at 5pm so again knew by bait and rigs were working well. Then ‘the cherry on the cake’ came along on Saturday morning at 2am. This was the fish I’ve been after all year and was absolutely desperate to catch since having her last year looking really unhealthy at 35lb after spawning. This time she looked immaculate and actually went 41lb 7oz! I couldn’t believe it………… a 40lb+ UK common!!”

Well done to Ashley on such a great result. This really was an awesome session and we think may make Ashley the only angler to have caught 2 x 40s from Lincolnshire in the same session; particularly a common and mirror.
