Gaz’s Special result

Big fish hunter Gaz Fareham has been keeping somewhat under the radar recently whilst balancing his busy work schedule with a tricky campaign on some low stocked pits in the South. Nevertheless, his incredible ability to bank fish at the drop of a hat have enabled him to catch these cracking fish on session s squeezed in between other commitments.

"The 35lb mirror was a fish I managed to catch from the Yateley Pad lake whilst filming with Korda for the Thinking Tackle DVD and was caught on my trusty 12mm Northern Specials Pop Ups fished over a small bag of Water Snails and Mini Ultramix Pellets dusted with GLM powder."

“The spot I had the 35 off had been heavily baited with a few kilos of CC Moore boilies and readers will be able to view both sessions on Sky this coming autumn when the new Thinking Tackle series as launched.

Even though we were under pressure with the filming taking place, I was very pleased to bank 10 fish over the two sessions, seeing the fish really respond to what I was offering them.”
