Over a number of years Gaz and a few of his closest angling colleagues have developed a small range of incredibly attractive hi-viz pop ups. Combining a selected blend of potent flavours and attractors with a high level of a vivid bait dye Gaz has created these ‘Northern Specials’ (‘I.B.s’) that have gained an almost mythical status.

Since Gaz joined us we have worked together with him to produce these superb 12mm and 16mm ‘Northern Specials’ in pink and white- the two colours he found most effective in his recent fishing campaigns.

In developing these hookbaits we combined several citrus-type flavours and a powerful set of attractors to make a product that will release a strong food signal over a long period of time. In testing, the flavour and attractor combination used in these pop ups proved instantly effective at stimulating fish to feed in even the most adverse conditions; a characteristic that has made them an essential addition to the bait armoury of some of the most successful anglers in the country.
