Gary Moore has successfully landed the sought after 'Bloater' from the beautiful Dorset big fish venue, Milton Abbas.

Weighing in at 40lb 1oz, the cagey mirror was trapped after being enticed into taking a standard Odyssey XXX boilie which was fished over 200 mixed 14mm Odyssey XXX and N-Gage XP boilies. The rotund yet evasive fish was landed by Gary during the night during his recent 48 hour session.

This fish had been seen on many occasions, often hanging off the back of groups of other fish as they fed on angler's loose feed, but had avoided capture for two years........quite an achievement on this regularly fished specimen venue.

We are pleased that another angler has found success in combining Odyssey XXX with N-Gage XP. This has proved a devastating method which enables anglers to change hookbaits and loose feed patterns whilst still being sure that every mouthful picked up by feeding fish is highly nutritious and extremely attractive no matter what the time of year or water temperature.
