LIMESTONE FLOUR

Limestone flour has been used in the bait industry for some time. As very fine ground limestone it has a harsh hardness that is evident in finished baits that contain it. Primarily used to add density (weight) to baits to enable them to be thrown further in throwing sticks, it is also a valuable source of calcium, supplementing that which is sourced naturally by fish as they crunch up the shells of mussels and snails. Baits that contain limestone flour also tend to be firmer and slightly crunchier than those without it.

Can be included in base mixes at up to 125g/kg.
