A winning combination - AGAIN!
Greg Alexander and the unstoppable
Kevin Wilson have again shown that great bait and great
angling is a winning combination.
Using
the tried and tested Odyssey XXX with the new liquid
Feedstim XP, both Greg and Kev have continued their
incredible runs on very tough UK waters.
A southern gravel pit and an
undisclosed Beds water have this time been the venues for their
respective successes, with Greg catching this superb 39lb 2oz
linear and Kev taking yet another UK 40+ at 40lb 4oz after only
being on the water for a short time (that's now five this
year!!!)
Anglers looking to save their 2008 season or
wanting to get ahead in 2009 should seriously consider this
powerful combination!!

World Carp Classic 2008 Win on Odyssey
(in conjunction with Mistral and Starmer products)
During early September 240 Anglers from 26 different countries
descended on the superb Lac Madine in France to compete for the
prestigious World Carp Classic title of 2008.
The 10th anniversary of the event was fought out by a field of
competitors that featured some of Europe's most accomplished big-fish
anglers including such familiar names as Tim Paisley, Dave Lane, Paul
Forward and Lee Jackson, helping to ensure that the event would be, as
expected, extremely competitive.

Kev Wilson continues his incredible
season......
Following
his astonishing run of results that included 3 different 40s in two
weeks, Kevin Wilson has struck again.
Adding to
what could have already been described as the season of a lifetime, Kev
has recently produced another superb result in landing 'Scaley' at 36lb+
and the highly sought-after 'Mother' at 46lb+ from a pressured
Bedfordshire Clay Pit.
Kev told
Carp-Talk: "When I landed three forties last year, I thought I'd
never beat that, so I can only say it's been unbelievable having landed
four so far in 2008!"

Wildbore Wins 2008 Korda British Young
Carpers'
Angling Championship
The recent Korda BYCAC was one of the most exciting to date and was
eventually won by 17-year-old star Jake Wildbore from
Leicestershire. Competing against 39 other young carpers on Linear
Fisheries Brasenose One, Jake fished in Peg 34 and banked 20 carp for a
total weight of 253lb oz during the 48-hour final.
Not only
did Jake win the coveted title he also scooped himself of £600 worth of
prize money, £500 worth of Korda tackle plus a one-year sponsorship
deal with Team Korda
Both
the qualifiers and the final will be televised exclusively on Sky Sports
so keep an eye on this website and in Crafty Carper for the dates. You

Jake's
winning tactics included fishing over a sloppy spod mix containing a
number of CC Moore ingredients.
Phil Buckley tames Heather
We would
like to extend our warm congratulations to Phil Buckley who recently
accounted for the stunning Heather from Yateley Car Park Lake at a
weight of 50lb 9oz.
Following
Ben Hamilton's capture of Arfur from the same venue on CC Moore Steeped
Black Tigers last winter, Heather fell for the same bait proving that
presenting something different can really give anglers an edge, on even
the most pressured waters.

Stunning Meteor result for Mark Symmonds
The highly sought-after Black
Eye has again been caught by Mark Symmonds using our incredibly
effective Meteor freezer bait.
This stunning fish of 50lb 1oz has now
been caught by Mark on three occasions in around 12 months after failing
to resist Meteor again recently.
Even more impressive than this is the
fact that Mark also caught two doubles, two twenties, a 33lb 9oz fish and
the lake's second biggest resident at 41lb 14oz in the same weekend
session!
Well done Mark, keep up the good work!

Kevin Wilson strikes again using CC Moore

Kevin Wilson has
continued his incredible run of fish with this superb 49lb 6oz mirror
caught from a pressured southern water.
In just over 3 weeks
Kev has now landed forties of 41lb 7oz, 45lb 15oz and 49lb 6oz, proving
that big fish just love CCM baits.
Congratulations to Kev Wilson.....
Following the capture of
his 45lb 15oz mirror, Kevin Wilson has landed this superb linear from
the same pressured southern water just 7 days later.
This stunning 41lb 7oz
fish again fell to CC Moore baits and is the latest in a continuing
string of fish to fall to Kevin.

Congratulations to Darren
Day who, using CCM Meteor freezer baits, caught the superb Burghfield
Common at an all-time record weight of 57lb 8oz.
Darren slipped his net
under this magnificent, English bred Carp on Monday 5th May following a
long campaign on the notoriously difficult Cemex water.
Two anglers, two baits, two UK 50s!
It's
great to see two of our baits working so well in such tricky
conditions, giving our customers a great choice between two
fantastic baits.
We think
you'll agree that these make quite an impressive pair for November
and look forward to bringing more reports to you shortly.
Gerry Giles used the
incredibly prolific Odyssey XXX freezer baits to great effect by
catching this famous, sought-after Hertfordshire club water fish at an
all time high 50lb 1oz. As we've said countless times in the past, if
they're eating, they'll always eat XXX - at any time of the year!
Mark
Symmonds used our highly-rated Meteor freezer baits to snare the
awesome Black Eye from Chad Lakes at a lake record 51lb 8oz (for
the second time on Meteor this year!!). We're pretty sure that
Mark and Black Eye are both quite keen on the bait..

... who continues to
have a successful season on the all conquering Odyssey XXX.
Apart from numerous
fish caught through the season from a variety of waters, his recent
results from an undisclosed southern water have been quite sensational.
This 42lb 8oz
mirror was caught a couple of weeks ago and was followed by a 48hr
session to remember.
This 48hr session
resulted in the captures of a rarely caught mirror of 29lb, commons of
35lb 2oz and 37lb 4oz and another mirror of 48lb 8oz. Top angling, top
bait!
