Following several years of consistent big fish captures, Greg Alexander has become well respected in the specimen carp angling industry. Focusing his attentions on some very pressured southern venues over the last few years Greg has learnt to deal with many of the challenges of modern day carping even when faced with fish and conditions that would see lesser anglers falter. Cutting his teeth on the tricky, if rewarding, Roach Pit Greg has caught numerous 40lb+ UK fish (even in a single season) and consistently catches when others are struggling.

His attention to detail, feature finding, casting and baiting accuracy has undoubtedly proved invaluable in his prolonged spell of success, which spans several years and several venues. Added to his great ‘feel’ for a situation that gives in an enviable knack of applying the right tactics at the right time, these characteristics make Greg a superb all round angler who feels at home on many types of water. His impressive ability to find, bait up and fish small spots at range make him a very effective ‘weedy water’ angler who puts a huge importance on the quality of his approach.
