Catch Reports
From our experiences of the past couple of years, we know only too well that anglers who are catching regularly on some waters are extremely reluctant to divulge their methods, feeding spots and particularly baits. As an emerging force in the U.K. and European bait market, we are extremely keen to maximise the exposure of our increasingly impressive catches.
Please send us all of your notable capture photographs and details and we will try to post them in our catch reports when we update them.

Species: Common carp
Weight: 33lb 2oz
Bait: Odissey XXX
Comments: single hookbait chod rig
Species: common carp
Weight: 36lb 2oz
Bait: Odyssey XXX boilies
Comments: This fish was caught from a renowned very hard 12 acre gravel pit in south lincs that holds only around 25 to 30 carp. This is the second largest carp in there which I caught at 36lb 2oz- it was spawned out and went 40lb last november the last time it was out. This is the 4th fish I have had out of there this year, all on the Odyssey XXX, so I'm well pleased with the bait!
Species: Common Carp
Weight: 9lb 8oz
Bait: CCMoore Odyssey xxx
Comments: A great run took only 5 minutes to land. Also had a Tench of 6lb. I fished a bed of crushed odyssey xxx boilies and an 18mm Freezer Bait.
Species: Mirror Carp
Weight: 30lb 15oz
Bait: Odyssey XXX
Comments: First session of the year. Hadn\'t been fishing for 7 months and went back to the lake where I had finished off last year. Arrived early in the morning, fish were showing and I had a take around an hour after casting out resulting in first fish of the year.
Species: Mirror Carp
Weight: 28lb 0oz
Bait: RED FACTOR
Comments: I was on a 24hr session at Todber Manor got there late afternoon wather was overcast. caught a couple of carp during evening 10 & 12lb. During night 2.20am rod screamed off I jumped out of bed, striking rod reeling it felt like I was dragging it in, it just seemed to be plodding on the bottom of lake. Got it to edge and realising how big it was my stomach was in my mouth, head spinning with excitement- what a beautiful fish. This was a lake record on Little Hayes recently opened at Todber and my PB. WHAT A BRILLIANT SESSION!!!!!!!!!!

Species: mirror carp
Weight: 21lb 12oz
Bait: n gage xp
Comments: As a relatively newcomer to carp fishing I was delighted to accept an offer from a fellow angler to go carping to this venue that was new to me.We arrived at the venue around 1pm to get get set for a 24hr session. Armed with N gage XP,that i purchased a fornight ago,I baited a chod with a 14mm pop up in the chosen spot & with a few freebies, within 2hrs I had smashed my previous pb of 14 pounds.
Species: Mirror Carp
Weight: 18lb 0oz
Bait: Odyssey XXX
Comments: After trying different boilies over the last 9 months without success I thought i\'d try Odyssey XXX for the first time. I had this carp and four others at 18lb 2oz, 14lb 10oz, 12lb 10oz and 10lb 2oz.
Species: mirror carp

Comments: had 24 carp on this day to top wieght of 25lbs range of carp from 8lbs to 25 lbs
Species: Mirror carp
Weight: 21lb 8oz
Bait: trimmed down odyssey xxx
Comments: A stunning dark one caught under the rod tip on my new 8ft stalking rod.A great fish to christen the new rod.Caught from a pre baited margin spot with ccmoore cooked particles. And back home in time for breakfast ;o)
Species: Common Carp
Weight: 33lb 7oz
Bait: N-Gage XP
Comments: The weather was calm, 34 C, no wind. The fish was caught using a 30mm boilie.
Species: Common carp
Weight: 32lb 8oz
Bait: CCM floating pellets soaked in feed stim xp
Comments: I chose to fish that day because England were playing Germany so I knew the lake would be empty. This was a good ploy because when I got there I saw 2 fish on the top straight away and one was the long common that I had been after for a while. So after feeding floating pellets for an hour to get their confidence up I had a go. The other fish came to have a look but I moved the bait because it was the common I was after. After about 20 mins the common had the bait on the first go. This is a fish that doesn't see the bank very often on this low stocked venue - so I was very happy.
Species: Mirror Carp
Weight: 17lb 1oz
Bait: N-Gage freezer bait and pop-up
Comments: This fish was the highlight of a day on this predominantly match fishing orientated lake in which day ticket anglers such as myself can only fish 1 rod. Fishing PVA bags of trout pellet and crushed N-gage bolies using a snowman style N-gage bolie hookbait dipped in N-Gage dip, plus a handful of freebies scattered around the margin caught me several tench, a large bream, a 7lb mirror and this very wide shouldered 17lb1oz mirror just as i was starting to pack up for the day. Not a bad result for the first time out on this lake which has probably never seen CC Moore bait before.
Species: common carp
Weight: 20lb 14oz
Bait: odyssey xxx
Comments: this fish was part of a four fish catch during a five hour evening session, the other weights were 19lb 2oz, 16lb 12oz and 12lb.
Species: Common
Weight: 43lb 0oz
Bait: Meteor
Comments: I started my week on the evening of 21/06/2010..had a good start with a 32lb 12oz mirror and then on the following evening I caught a 31ib 10oz mirror and a 18lb 8oz common..On the following morning I caught another 32lb mirror...then it all changed. The carp started some late spawning..and I thought that's it, it's all over for me the rest of the week...So I went off with my video camera and shot some great footage of the carp spawning...before I tried my hand to have a go for the cats, but with no luck... On the friday morning I hit a nice 29lb 12oz mirror and then on the saturday morning I started packing away some of my tackle to drive 7 hours to the ferry. I was leaving my rods until the very last moment...then I had a screamer and hit my pb 43lb common..what a great week!

Bait: 14mm N-Gage XP Bottom Bait
Comments: Myself And my brother went for an overnighter as the weather was spot on, mild, muggy, with a light s,w blowing. We managed to get into the south west end bay of the lake, and fished no more then 25 yards out over a weed bed. id decided to give the N-gage a go, which i had won in December from a catch report that was published in carptalk. I scattered 60 baits quite well spread out and dropped my rig on the inside edge of the baits. After only 30 minutes the rod ripped off and i managed to land this stunning 17lb 0oz mirror which is actually the third time ive had it, but this time on a new bait, The N-Gage, which looks like being a terrific bait!I aslo had another take shortly after repositioning the rod to take a mid double leather, My brother also had a great session as id gave him 2 1/2kg to use as he takes the photos for me, and landed three carp upto 19lb 8oz

Species: Mirror carp
Weight: 26lb 6oz
Bait: Live system
Comments: Shortly after putting bivvie up, I saw a few fish showing. I scattered a few 10ml Live system over the area, then used 14ml boilie with a 10ml cork pop up to make a snowman. Cast out on top of fish and after about an hour I got a result. The weather was overcast but warm at six in the evening when I caught the fish. THANK YOU CC MOORE FOR A WONDERFULL BAIT
Species: mirror carp

Bait: n gage with a pink northern special
Comments: caught while fishing for carp over a bed of n gage boillies.I used a 14mm boillie topped off with a pink northern special.
Species: Mirror Carp
Weight: 51lb 10oz
Bait: My Own boilies, quest baits pop up and half a white northern special pop up for buyoancy with a mixed feed of cc moore shrimp pellets, cc moore black tigers and my own boilies.
Comments: After much persistence I found a small gravel spot in the thick weed. I baited the spot with CC Moore shrimp pellets, CC Moore black tigers and my own boilies. I carefully placed the rig onto the gravel patch and began the usual waiting game. The weather had been extremely hot, in the 30\'s for the most part of the weekend but the Monday bought about low pressure and was very overcast. The night saw heavy rain and I was confident of a take at some point with fish topping all over the lake. The rig had been in the water for just under 48 hours when I received a few bleeps on my left hand rod. Half an hour later I received the odd liner. It was 9 in the morning so I decided to make a quick brew and watch the water as the fish were showing themselves well and I was receving liners on all four rods. The fish were in the area. At 9.45 am my alarm finally screamed into life and I was into my first fish of the session. I was unsure how big the fish was but it was certainly giving an excellent account of itself. It towed me to the far island and tried to kite around the back of it. I applied some pressure and finally got the fish the right side of the island and continued the fight. Another five minutes went by and an excellent scrap was well under way. Every time I thought it was over the fish would take more line and was certainly not planning on giving up. A last ditch effort to the margain snag was made before I saw a huge back come up in the water and the fish coming towards the net. My mate Dom was on hand to see the carp slide across the spreader block and my first fish of the session. I knew it was a good one and the scales tipped round at 51lb 10oz, a new PB. Thanks to CC Moore for the bait and helping me land the fish of a lifetime.
Species: Mirror Carp
Weight: 30lb 10oz
Bait: 14mm Odyssey xxx
Comments: I would like to share this capture of this fish with you. I have recently turned my attention to using CC Moore bait, inparticular the Odyssey xxx bait, after first seeing it at a carp show. I have been fishing on a new syndicate water in Essex run by Paul Middleton of English Carp Fisheries, named Limebrook Syndicate. The lake is only 4/5 years old and all of the fish in the lake are all young fish and have been breed and raised by Paul himself. The venue has been open a couple of years now and I have been fishing it very hard recently in the thought that it would produce its first ever fish over 30lb in weight soon. Fishing on an over night session this weekend past, 5/6/10, I was fishing with a friend for the night and around 10pm my friend produced the lakes first ever 30lb mirror at 30lb exactly, taken on the Odyssey xxx. This is the secound time since going over to this bait that my friend has had this same fish, first having it early April this year at 28lb 10oz. What a result! We thought to ourselves. Little where we to know at this time that the following morning I was to recieve a take just as I was starting to pack away. An epic fight took place and when I see the fish roll near the net I could clearly see that it looked a good fish. Not long after at the first attempt my fishing buddy pulled the net up around the fish and it was now safely caught. I couldnt belive it when I looked into the net and could see that it was another great fish for this new venue. On the scales it went 30ln 10oz, what an excellent result for the venue. Two 30lb fish in hours of each other from a venue that has never produced a 30lb prior to this event, and both falling to the Odyssey xxx, which since swaping over too we have been having fantastic results on this venue with. I dont believe I will be venturing away from CC Moores baits and I look forward to much much more success on your baits. A massive thank you for service and quality bait.

Bait: Odyssey XXX
Comments: I used Odyssey XXX with Feedstip Xp in pva bags at 50yard on a point swim with an island on my left and a gravel plataux out to the front. I used corkball wafters on a KD rig on an running inline setup. During the day we had a south westerly wind with sun bringing the fish up in the water and on to the plataux and i starded to catch on my right rod. Gradualy as the the day went on into the night the catches were then picked up on my center rod until at night all catches were on my right rod in deeper water. Learning this i moved my rods around for the next 24hrs to maximise my catch rate resulting in four pbs my first 30 and then catching another 30 the most famouse fish in the lake CASPER a few hrs later. Scores on the doors 21, 24, 27, 27.7, 32, 35.12 in 48hrs result.

Species: Mirror carp

Bait: CCmoore freezer baits
Comments: Due to personal circumstances my time on the bank has been very limited recently. So I was obviously buzzing with excitement when the first opportunity of the year to get down to my syndicate lake presented itself. Now the water in question is a notoriously tricky venue, with bites being very hard to come by indeed. However at the beginning of this year I had made the switch to CC Moore freezer baits and the first session out on another water with the new baits, I had a fantastic session, landing 3 30's and a number of 20's, so I was more than confident that the new bait would see me right on this water too. When I got to the water I struggled to find any signs of fish, so as this was a short session and I needed to get fishing I decided to set up in a favourable area and try and pull a few fish into me with the bait. Fishing 3 rods all on different spots I decided to put around a kilo on boilies over each, all coated with a liberal dose of the amazing feedstim XP... Well what happened next was surely no coincidence as within an hour of baiting up fish started to show over two of the spots. An hour later one of the rods was away to an absolute screamer and after a very tense few minutes a netted one of the lakes prized residents in the form of gorgeous 29lbs 2oz mirror....result!! The fish continued to show over the spots and during the night I had another take which I unfortunately lost due to a hook pull. I wasn’t too disheartened though as this instant success on the new bait has certainly given me confidence that I will definitely be getting a few more bites this year!

Species: common carp \"The Big Common\"
Weight: 41lb 15oz
Bait: 10mm N-gage
Comments: I think i\'m going to start by saying thankyou for making my dream come true? It\'s been hard times recently and i,ve blanked since mid-oct!! This was my seventh visit to the linear complex in 18 months and I had not had a fish until now. I went to linear from sunday to wednesday but on tuesday morning me and my friend jim decided to move as we had\'nt seen any fish and the shallower water was looking very good for a fish as it was getting slightly warmer. I put a zig out on my left hand rod as this is what most of the fish had been caught on over the last couple of days and two solid pva bags with crushed N-gage and various sizes and colour pellets on the other two rods fishing in-line dropoff leads and a 3\" hooklink fished KD style with a 10mm N-gage btm bait and a white pop-up(not a northern special as they were not out when i ordered off you last :o().On the wednesday morning at 6am the middle rod ripped off, I hit into the fish but as I started to wind down on the fish I realised that the line had gone behind the spool...great! I\'ve got the rod in my right hand keeping tension on the fish and the spool in my left shouting my mate Jim who luckily was in the swim next door, the line has knotted on the spindle and the only thing I could do was break the line and re-tye it together but as we were halfway through the knot my tip bounced back and I thought the fish had come off, I was gutted and stood there for a few seconds before I told my friend not to bother continuing with the knot but as I wound in ten yards of line the tension came back and I realised that the fish had kited round the corner to my left!!!My friends face was suddenly a picture as he ran to me telling me not to panic and take it easy as it was a thirty! Luckily for me she came into the net first time and it was then that I realised it was a mahoooosive fish!! I\'ve rang my other friend steve and woke him up to come down and do my photo\'s and help weigh it and it ended up being \"The Big Common\" at a record weight at 41lb 15oz!!!! I can\'t explain how I feel, the smile just won\'t come off my face!!:o) This was my first fish from the linear complex on my new N-gage bait and to top it off it was the first time out with a new set of rods!!! Thx again for the top quality bait!!! BUZZING!! :o) Paul Arrowsmith aka Mutley

Bait: single intense brazilian nut
Comments: we always have a small competition on who catches the first carp on a lake here in boxtel. the first time i went out wit my mate, 2nd of march, i caught this one, the first of a year in witch i caught more then ever. it was one of the first days that the weather was better, a nice sunny day. we arrived at the lake @ 09.00 o\'clock. no one ose there at the time so whe chose our spot on the south west sid e of the water, with the wind in our back we set up our gear. on both rods i put a brazilian nut with a pva stick to keep the rig out of the mud, it was a bait they would heve never seen before, so i hade some toughts about them not liking it, because they didn\'t know it. after 2 ours some other people came to the lake to fish, whilst talking to them, my buzzer screamed for attention. after a short dril my mate could net it for me. the first of the year was in the net!! a 13.5 kg common, one of the bigger ones. it gave me a hell of a fight on the bank, when we wanted to make a picture, i was covered in slime, but feeling happy.
