<div>I was on a 3 night session on a tricky, southern venue. I pinpointed a small hole in the weed at a range of around 120yrd. The fish had been showing off the back of my spot in some very heavy weed, but with a nice, brisk, southwesterly chop blowing, I was convinced they would follow it and I could be in with a chance the next morning.
Big-Pit Success – Matthew Lockett
I presented a rig consisting of a white CC Moore Northern Special over the top of some freebies; CC Moore Pacific Tuna mixed with Live System – six Spombs in total.
I managed a tench of about 6lb off the spot and then the all-important take came, which resulted in the most incredible of mirrors. It was a rare visitor and pulled the scales around to a respectable 38.10. As you can imagine, I was delighted!
